2019, What a Year

If you follow my website, then you may have noticed that I haven't had any blog/news posts since March. This is mostly because I had my kitchen remodeled this year and it took up so much of my time that I barely could write and get books out. My house is my own again (pure bliss!) and so I'm going to try and be more regular with updates. In case you've missed it, all of these books have come out after Chaotic Scottish Wedding and Winning Skyhunter:

The Dragon's Discovery (Lochguard Highland Dragon #6)

Transforming Snowridge (Stonefire Dragons Universe #2)

The Hidden (Kelderan Runic Warriors #5)

Also, I started a short story series set on Stonefire about a pair of ten year olds, one human and one dragon-shifter, named Daisy and Freddie:

Meeting the Humans

The Dragon Camp

The Dragon Play

If you're curious about next year, I have two preorders up:

The Dragon's Pursuit (Lochguard #7) – Chase and Layla, January 23, 2020

Persuading the Dragon (Stonefire #12) – Ivy and Zain, May 14, 2020 (Yes, finally!)

And while always subject to change, I have the following releases also planned for 2020:

Searching HighPlains (Stonefire Dragons Universe #3) – Set in Australia

The Survivor (Kelderan #6) – Kajala and her hero

Moving to Stonefire (Stonefire Dragons Shorts #4)

The Dragon's Choice (Tahoe Dragon Mates #1) – A loosely related dragon spinoff set in the USA

The Dragon's Need (Tahoe #2)

The Dragon's Bidder (Tahoe #3)

Not to mention I still have a few secret projects in the works, too. 😉 If you're waiting for Love in Scotland or AMT books…it may be awhile. Times are getting tougher for authors and I, sadly, have to focus on series that will earn me a living. I hope to write for both of those series in the not too distant future. (And in case you missed it, the AMT series is getting a slight rewrite and will be renamed Elemental Legends).

I wish you the best for the new year. <3

  1. Please, please, please, never say you are not writing any more Stonefire books, even if it is true (for now). It’s kind of hard to give up a series, so a little twinkle of hope is, not saying never! All of your spin offs are amazing. I will continue to buy and read them because I like all things Dragon, and will always hope for more Stonefire books. As long as you have dragon books all will be well with my world.

    1. My goal is to end the series eventually and then write about the kids all grown up. I just don’t want to get bored or for readers to get bored!

      1. Books about the kids of Stonefire are still Stonefire books. You are such an amazing writer I could never be bored reading any of your books. The new series, The Dragon’s Choice, is great. I just wish it was longer. Jose has such an extended family, I want to know more about them. I can’t wait to see the clan leader, Wes Dalton, find his HEA. Thank you for sharing your wonderful imagination with us.

    1. As I mention in the post, the titles were subject to change. 🙂 Searching Highplains was pushed back to make way for other releases. I’m not sure when it’ll be out, especially since Stonefire Dragons Universe #3 will be about Adrian from Clan Northcastle in Northern Ireland instead.
