Weekly Update: 1/17/2022

I'm spending a lot of time writing these days! I wrote nearly 50k in December and I'm on track to write 50k in January as well. (February will be less as I finish up a book, which takes time.) Here's a little update since the last one:

  1. Want the latest audio? The Dragon's Chance is now up at Audible, Amazon, and Apple! I should be booking Summer at Lochguard soon as well.
  2. Trusting the Dragon releases on January 20th. Some early readers say it's my hottest book to date, so I can't wait to see how every reacts, lol.
  3. I wrote nearly 50k on Vampire's Modern Bride in December. I'm letting it sit in January as I work on The Dragon's Memory (I'm at about 30k for that one now).
  4. And if you've been waiting for release dates, well Vampire's Modern Bride should be out in July, and the second Dark Lords of London book in August of this year.
  5. I won't be having a preorder for Stonefire #15 for awhile. Why? I need to be flexible for my January 2023 release date. If my Dark Lords series does well, I want to get Book #3 out. If it does so-so, then I'll probably release Stonefire #15. But don't worry, if not in January then Stonefire #15 should release in May 2023.
  6. Prizes for the winners of the Book Blind Date contest were mailed out earlier this month. If they haven't arrived just yet, they should be soon.

That's it for this update! I've just been doing so much writing that I don't have as many little things to share this time around, lol. (And I think readers prefer more books to more posts anyway.) If you have questions, feel free to post them. While not guaranteed, I may just answer some in future weeks. 🙂

  1. Hey Jessie,

Can’t wait for the next few books and your new series. When will you be planning Nathan and Haley’s story?

    1. Not quite sure at this point. Stonefire #15 will features two characters from Trusting the Dragon. My mind will let me know eventually!

    1. At this time, I don't know. The AMT series doesn't earn a lot and I have to focus on what pays my bills. 🙂
